Wordless Wednesday: before and after

Our first walk together

Hello friends!
Exhausted Coco here to inform you that I got a new job that involves sleepless nights and emergency assessment at the call of a very pitchy alarm - said emergency calls mostly consisting of potty duty and emtpy stomach of my brand new little sister.
Even though I carry most of the responsibility here being alert 24/7, my mother, father and grandma seem to be exhausted as well, specially my lazy mother. How can she be so tired if what she mostly does is feed the baby for hours and hours comfortably sitting in bed? Some people have the job easy, let me tell you.
So today, I finally got a little reward. We went on our first walk with the brand new sister. I tripped a couple of times with her puggy buggy - which is almost the same tone of green as my own puggy buggy, by the way. I really hope she develops more personality in the future. And I hope I learn to walk around her buggy soon!

Mommy's Doggy Shower

A few months ago,

I asked my friend Maxi if we could organize a party in his backyard.

He said yes, and we also invited our puppy friend Mia.

Some humans were invited and we provided entertainment for them.

For some reason, my mother told me that this was the best baby shower she could have asked for.

Weird, since there were no babies around!

Meet our new family member

On father's day, the whole family went to Kennedy Park in Coconut Grove. I was having a great time playing voleyball, but then my mother asked me to sit right next to her. "Coco, there is going to be a new family member. She is going to be a little princess and she will be your roomate."

"When is she coming?", I asked.

"She is right here". Well, I have been sniffing someone around for a while but for me she is nowhere to be found yet.

As far as I know, my family is daddy, my two big sisters and mommy.

Oh, there's also grandma, but she only visits for short periods of times.

So I went ahead and asked Lauren.

Then I asked Eli.

I got no logical answer for my little wrinkled head.

Today, I decided to investigate further. I scrutinized my whole bedroom in search of the new member of the family. If she is a princess then she will have a crown and it will shine. Easy.

What my mother forgot to say, is that my new little sister is GREEN.

Hello friends!

I have missed you all so much! Daddy fixed the internet last weekend but it hasn't been working well for the past few days (go figure); so I asked mom to upload and help me write a quick note just in case it freezes again while we blog!

Here are some pictures of Puggy Luau 2010, a couple of weeks ago. I was very lucky to have Jax's daddy take me into the pool swimming! Mom and dad didn't bring appropiate attire to take me into the pool. Boring people. 

We will try to visit your blogs in the upcoming days. I am really sorry I haven't left any comments for so long, but we have been reading your blogs and have been thinking a lot about you. I know I have missed a lot of birthdays, that some of you have been sick and also some of our friends are not longer with us :o(  Please know that my heart has been with you all this time!

I know you can't tell by this picture but daddy had fun too at the Luau. He never smiles on pictures. But here he is trying.

Look where mom found me this morning. Just a reminder that the guest sofabed is all mine. What? Grandma is coming for two months tomorrow? Oh, what a coincidence. She'll have to sleep in the crib then!

P.S. sorry for being absent and for the bad quality pictures, friends. I have been on bloggy strike for so long, hoping that my father would get internet at home for us. Apparently he didn't care much that we couldn't blog... so I've been forced to use drastic measures. Get it fixed, daddy, or get bitten badly! Grrr!

Pee Ess: I apologize for not blogging that much lately but mom has been feeling very sad/worried/lonely since one of her closest friends got very sick, so sick treatment is almost hopeless... fortunately she is a strong woman and she decided to take it step by step; she is very hopeful and positive now. Mom feels a little better thanks to her. I guess you always learn something good from your friends!
