Pug on Strike

Mother,

I want you to know that I am very upset. I have noticed that you hide important information from me. That is not permissible between family members that love each other and share peacefully a home. I have decided to boycott our movies. I am a famous pug and you will not profit with that.

No, mom. Don't film my face. I will be on strike until you comply with my request.

All I am asking is that, from now on, you take me to all, yes, ALL pug meetups, pug parties, pet friendly events, etc., regardless of the distance or hour at which the event will take place.

Just to show you my desire to work things out between us, I will give you an opportunity tomorrow. Take me to the pug meetup in West Palm Beach at 9:00 a.m. I know that you will have to wake up at 6 a.m. and drive two hours to get me there but that's part of our agreement, remember?

Take me to ALL events regardless of distance and time.

Delicacy and Award!

Hello friends,
I couldn't post yesterday because my mom was a little sad. She read on Clover's blog that her cousin Ed went to heaven. Mom told dad about Clover's cousin and he has started to use the seat belt now. Mom was also sad because yesterday was her daddy's 13 anniversary of him also going to heaven.

To make the day more sad, I was still limping yesterday. I started limping on monday, on and off. Mom doesn't know what to do and she feels sad because she knows that even though I look and feel healthy most of the time, my condition is really delicate. Any little thing that I have, freaks her out. She spoke to the vet on the phone and she said to not worry too much, that if it is an inflammation it will go away with my prednisone. I was barely limping today.

My friend Brutus passed me the ladybug award. This award represents the blogs that truly love someone or something. It´s a ladybug and they are known for giving us luck whenever we see one.

OOOOHHHH!!! APARENTLY THIS WAS NOT A GOOD AWARD. SORRY FRIENDS!

I would like to pass this award to: Nancy and the fatties, Norman, Punchy, Purs n' Snorts and The Devil Dog.

Brutus and I are very good friends. We both crave for delicacies. I wish mom and dad would understand this and provide a supply of delicacies for me to enjoy. Instead, I have to search for it myself.




It is funny how mom tries to avoid me eating the delicacy. I just don't pay attention and ignore her. She then goes tell dad to tell me to stop eating cat poop. As soon as dad mentions my name, I know I am in trouble.



"Yes? I swear I wasn't eating anything!". Dad may have serious trust issues. He didn't believe me!



He asked me to stay in the concrete slab. Can you see me?



I didn't move from that spot for more than 3 hours! (7 minutes is an hour, right?)

Working With the Snuggle Puggle

Good afternoon,
I wanted to take a day off from my daily duties. While I was resting inside the house, I had an urgency.




I had lived in this house a long time ago, so to be able to pee or poo I had to do some intensive sniffing first.





I was very concentrated searching for the right spot to do my business.




Sniff here.

Sniff there.

I sensed I was not alone. It was a scary feeling.

I felt threatened. I don't know why.

After a while, I heard some brushes move.





I couldn't handle the tension anymore.



I had to confront who ever was in there.





I feared for my life, but I came closer anyway.








Suddenly, a light creature attacked me with his claws.

We rolled in the floor.

I tried to not get hurt.

It was a fierce fight.

Wait.

What is going on?

Dad!!! You ruined it! I was supossed to get rid of the cat myself!



I will have to use my imagination now to finish my story! Being a writer is a hard job!

Healthy Weekend

Hello buddies!
You won't believe what my mom did to me this past weekend. We spent two days in the house daddy is going to put for rent. I lived there when I was a puppy but have not been there for a long time. There are lots of boxes all over the place now and some furniture is missing. With all of this going on, you would think I could bump into things or get lost. I didn't!

All I brought with me was my bed, my rawhide and my bone. I don't use the bed at home but in this house I need it because it has cold tiled floor.

The weekend was passing by, like any other weekend. I had lots of carrots and green beans.

The kids where at home with us and dad cooked breakfast for the whole family. It smelled so good!

What are you cooking dad?

Daddy had the great idea of preparing some of the breakfast thingy for me. I was so excited!

Then mom got mad. She said that he was going to kill me. That I couldn't eat that much grease. That I was on a diet. Then he said that how come mom ate like 5 pieces of this and she didn't die. That she was on a diet also and she still had some. That I was going to get old some day, and die without even trying a little piece of this. That I deserved to have some fun in life.

In the meantime, I was waiting under the cheap old temporary dining table for daddy to finish the discussion with something like: because I said so.



But no. Mom sacrificed herself eating MY portion of bacon and gave me only a tiny bit the size of a bean. I was so mad!

We went to the vet later and all the employees came outside to greet me. One of them gave me a cookie.

Then the vet gave me another cookie, right after my cortisone injection. Then another cookie right after she took some blood for my exams. Then another cookie after I let her trim my nails.

Mom, isn't the calorie and fat content of 4 cookies the same as in 1 piece of bacon?

Llama and Me

Hello friends,
We were lucky to survive the freezing weather yesterday thanks to our cozy clothing. Can you believe it was only 50ºF ? I wish I had an alpaca sweater to cope with this weather but mom didn't find one my size the last time she went to Perú. She did meet some llamas and alpacas, though.





Yesterday I got to wear my nice winter sweater but in the afternoon I peed on it because it fits me a little long. This morning mom took me out 4 times before I decided I was going to go poo and pee. It was freezing cold! I had to wear a t-shirt because my sweater is still wet.


Mom says I look like this little guy when I wear this t-shirt.


Mom has also noticed that now that it is cold, I am desperately hungry, much more than before. She is trying to not overfeed me but at the same time I won't shut up the whole day unless I get extra pieces of carrots and green beans! I have an appointment with my vet on saturday and she always complains that I am fat. Mom is in trouble now!
