Long days, long nights

A young and healthy pug can only run and play so much,

when a frisky kid has cleary have not had enough.

"A master plan is what we need", my senior best friend recommends.

"This place could have a spooky past; I bet she'd be scared".

We spread the story of a long lost soul, an outdoors loving ghost.

We rapidly took shelter and planned to rest.

After a quick snack, it was time to go to bed.

Little girl laid restless in bed, and we felt bad.
A nightmare was definitely not in our plans, so we asked.

"I can't sleep, I can't wait...
to meet my outdoor loving new friend tonight!", she replied.

Run away

There's been rumors about a mother and her daughter getting to work and school late respectively due to a certain creature who likes to sun-bathe for hours, to then run when called or approached to get into the house.

The Pug Picnic

Hola amigos!
Last Sunday we attended the annual Pug Picnic, with our friend Jaxson. I was hoping to find more pictures on daddy's camera but this has been a crazy week, and this is all I have for now. I swear there were dozens of pugs besides us!

Party like a dog

Hola amigos!
It 5 o'clock on a sunny Sunday and I'm already down for a good night sleep. That's what happens when you party all day long.
My family and I spent an awesome time with pugs and friends. More to come...

Life... in purple and pink

Hola amigos,
Being an only pug doesn't mean having a perfect life.
You'd think I'm spoiled; you'd think I'm king.
Truth is, sometimes I'm not.
I get to wear pink accessories, purple nail polish, sometimes a dress.
Although sometimes I look like a princess, we all know deep inside I'M KING.

P.S. If you'd like to see a picture of me wearing a dress... stay tuned.

Buenos días!

My mommy drinks a weird concoction every morning, and she calls it Café con leche.
She uses almond milk, coconut crystals and instant coffee.
Did you guys see my name in the recipe?
It can only mean it is meant to be for me.
And every morning, I try and get a small taste of that weird concoction while mommy looks away.

One little, two little doggies

Cinnamon visited for a couple of days.
Don't you know who she is?
I'll tell you right now.
My mother had a friend whom she loved very much.
Mom's friend got very sick.
She recovered and decided that she needed a dog.
Some relatives knew of someone who had a dog in search of a home.
The dog's owner had recently passed away.
Her relatives didn't want to keep the dog because she reminded them of their loss.
The dog spent day and night in a crate.
Then, mommy's friend adopted her.
She kept her original name, Cinnamon.
It was a perfect match.
A few months later mommy's friend started to feel sick again.
Mommy lost her dear friend almost a year ago.
It's been a tough year, you can tell.
Cinnamon's daddy told mom a few months ago that he was tired.
He had survived years ago the same disease that took his wife's life.
He said that he would give Cinnamon to my family in a heartbeat.
This was right before I came into my family's life.
Mom was heartbroken.
She didn't know what to say.
Cinnamon needs her daddy and he needs her.
She said so, and he kept her.
Last weekend, Cinnamon stayed with us.
Her daddy had to leave town unexpectedly.
We got along pretty well, considering how different we are.
She growls quite a lot, she doesn't like to play.
I am a playing machine!
My dad loved Cinnamon, she's such a good girl.
And the next day, her daddy picked her up late.
We're all looking forward to another play date or pajama party, with my new friend!
