To make this pug tired:
1. Casually mention that you are going to the beach. The pug will get extremely excited and will pant and jump and be stuck to you for the next two hours until you actually leave the house.
2. Get in the car, put the pug's car harness on and attach it to the rear seat belt. He will start crying 15 minutes after and won't stop until you reach your destination an hour later.
3. Try to reach a spot on the beach. The more you get closer to the water the harder the pug will pull towards the opposite side. Carry him.
4. Unleash the beast, er pug. He will inspect everybody else's bags for treats, and will run towards anyone hadling a bag.
5. The pug will ocassionally try to jump inside the bucket where everyone is throwing away poop bags. Eww.
6. Ask the pug if he wants to go swimming. He will run away again.
7. Take the pug back in the car and listen to him crying all the way to the diner.
8. Try to hold the pug's leash right next to you so he stops scratching your friend's lap (she always brings treats!). Watch the pug walk to the other side of the table. What is he doing without his buddy belt harness? Oh yes, and he did it four times.
9. Finally, decide it is better to hold the pug with your arms, while you try to eat. Don't unterestimate the length of his tongue: He will lick your french toast.
10. Get back in the car and listen once again to the pug cry for 15 minutes.
11. Did he stop crying? Yes. He jumped to the front seat and entertained himself chewing some tissue paper. He got off the car's harness that is attached to the rear seat belt!
How can a pug not be tired after having to go through all this? Mother, I need a beach front home!

Of course he's tired. It's not easy getting you humans to do what we want. He is fighting for a good cause, beachfront property. Now be a good Mom and give a pug what he needs.

Hmmm if you subsitute beach for dog park and french toast for burger this sounds just like Sequoia! And yes she gets out of her rear seat harness too. And she whines the entire car ride no matter what.

Sounds like Coco kept you quite busy!! But I guess that's what being a pug is all about (well, besides eating, that is). :)
That sounds like a trip Mommy takes with us. Especially my sister Izzy and my brother Anakin. As for me...I am like my boyfriend Stubby, I get tired just being lifted up by Mommy and Daddy.
Sometimes if I roll over I need to take an extra minute to rest.

I never stop crying- however i refuse to have anyone harness me up to any safety belt.
I can just imagine you licking the french toast- cause i would do the same thing- or eat it all.
