Merry Christmas to all!

I am back!

Hello friends!
I have been on a vacation this past month, spending a lot of time with grandma and then the past 10 days also with my aunty and cousins, therefore I haven't had a lot of time to blog. Mom promised she will make some time to help me blog now that she is trying to stay awake for more than 2 hours after she gets home from work - yes, she's been THAT lazy!!!
Anyway, I have so many news I don't know where to start now. First, I would like to thank all my friends that sent Christmas cards this year. I loved them all, and I am keeping them in a special box so I can put them back on the living room table next year! Mom did finish our cards a little late but she got to mail them out before Christmas. I hope you got them on time and that you liked them, specially the picture :D.



Santa Paws visited my friend Jax's home early this year, and he left a few presents for us under his tree! Jax's mom gave us this cute bear filled with homemade cookies (plus two more boxes with more cookies!). Mom, dad and the rest of the family - who got to try what was left of the cookies - LOVED them so much! Mom read on some blogs how your moms bake cookies too. She didn't know about this nice tradition and she is glad she got to try some from her dear friend. Now dad is asking her to learn how to make them so she can bake a few for next year! (recipes are welcome).



Jax also gave mom a special present for me: A marrow bone and two chew toys! Wow, I can't believe Santa Paws would know me so well. Besides sleeping and eating, chewing marrow bones is my favorite way to spend time at home and at work! I don't have pictures yet, because mom forgot my bone and chew toys at work last Wednesday and she got sick and couldn't go back to the office on Thursday to pick them up. Yeah, this has been a loooong boring weekend for me!

On Christmas eve Santa Paws visited my own home and left three (or two?) more presents!

1. A blue scarf. Don't I look like an artist wearing my scarf?



2. A Punchy PJ. Don't I look sexy on my new PJ's?








3. An AnimalPlanet blankie. Don't I look comfy with my blankie? No, I don't, because I barely use it! Mom has been sleeping with my blankie because she says it is freezing in here and that's the only way she can sleep. She has a cold now but as soon as she feels better, I want my blankie back!



To make things worst, dad said I had to share my blankie during the day with my fishie siblings.

Is that fair? Santa Paws should have thought of them and got them a fish tank cover!

I visited Santa Paws and he said I was such a good boy I would get a lot of presents under our tree! I am just a little worried, because our Christmas tree only measures 10 inches... How will Santa Paws fit ALL my presents underneath that tiny thing?

Four years and two days ago...

... I was lying in my crate, trying to fall asleep despite the cold air that kept me trembling night and day. Be sweet and be cute, we were told by the pet store owner. As hard as I tried, people always noticed how much I was shaking hiding in the corner of my crate.



One by one my siblings left the store, and it was only three of us in the back cold room that day. My two brothers' crates were located right next to the door, at eye sight. Mine was all the way down on the floor, behind other crates and puppies.



Late afternoon, before the store was about to close, people came in asking for a pug. The owner said he had some. He showed them my siblings but they turned around and saw me. The woman started sneezing - that's how cold the room was.



The man said: I want him. The woman asked: Why is he shaking so bad? The pet store owner said: It is because it's cold in here. Let me take him out.


Out I went, to the front of the store, and started running in circles - pug style - around this people. He is the cutest one and I want him, the man said. The woman was speechless, laughing, hugging and kissing me.

Me? I was the happiest pug ever. Early December, I was only three months old, and I was already getting not one, but two Christmas presents - a mother and a father!

Where's the snow?

Hello buddies!
What a nice surprise I received the other day! I got ready with my suitcase and my bone - for proper entertainment - to go to work with mom. I've had a lot of fun with my bone but, you know, it is kind of boring sometimes. THE SAME BONE. Always.

Then, the mailman came to the rescue. He had a box for me from Peggy, Babe, Jeannie, Bob, Isis, Summer and Romeo! It was my Christmas in July present!!! Thank you friends! (And thank you Liss for organizing!)

I got wonderful goodies. There was something that I thought may be for mom but I liked it so much we are both sharing it now. It is a cute, warm and soft throw. Everything else was for me ONLY! I loved the pig ear and the rawhide. Mom is saving the treats for later. Now, is it appropiate for someone to take someone else's present away for a while???
