I hope you are ready to have a great weekend. I have been trying to convince my parents to take me to the Colony Hotel in Delray Beach... remember the pictures I posted on Wednesday? My friend Jax says it is the coolest place on earth - in other words, 100% pet friendly! The hotel is 83 years old, and the machine shown there is an old telecommunication device, as some of you have guessed.
Mom is ready to pack and go with me to Delray Beach but daddy... well, you all know daddy. He is not that easy to convince. So instead of the mini vacation mom said I could go shopping for some cushions because I will need them to complement my birthday gift. I don't know what my gift will be yet but I know what my favorite home accesories store is: Jonathan Adler!
"Hey mom! What color should I get? Is gray ok?"
There were so many colors, sizes and designs to choose from. The little cushions were $110.00 but they seem too small for me, unless I get three or four...
"Mom, can I get the big one? It has bones on it, I love it! And it is only $210.00!" I said. "No, wait, I want the big one and two small ones to match!"
Mom fainted on the floor. I had to patiently wait for her to wake up and pay.
"Mom, look! This cushions are made in Perú! What a coincidence!"
And this is how mom decided that it was cheaper to buy an airplane ticket and drive all over her country to find a cushion with bones and colors for me.
