Living in another Time Zone

Hello Friends, puggies, other doggies, maybe some cats and humans!
Thank you for voting to help me choose a costume for the contest! I know you are all waiting to know how the contest went... but I'd rather tell you all about Pug Picnic first!
Mom and I are members of the Pug Club of South Florida (besides being part of two pug meetup groups also), and they organize one pug picnic in november, a party for humans-only in December, a meetup for puggies in January and a BIG Pug Picnic in February. The first meetup I ever attended -because I was healthy enough to finally go out and about - was the February Pug Picnic almost three years ago. Mom was in pug heaven, there were about 300 people with about 300+ pugs! I was the happiest pug on earth. Dad was terrified. He said all of the people in the park - besides him - were crazy. Funny, he's attended hundreds of pug meetups ever since... and he seems to enjoy it!
Back to last Sunday... Once I arrived I spotted the girls.
There were plenty of them.
But they were leaving!
The party had almost ended by the time we arrived. Why? Because mom lives in another time zone. She's stuck with "Peruvian Time" in which you are ALWAYS late. I missed the costume contest!!!
Lucky me, my best puggy friend Jax was there to save the day. We stayed in the park chatting and sniffing for a while.

Jax was kind enough to share some treats with me. Mom didn't bring anything, not a single carrot, or a single green bean. Do any of you know of a number I can call to complain such cruelty?

Non-sense

I am a grown-up pug.

I like to keep my room organized; everything in place.

My mother, on the other hand, is a total mess. She keeps things anywhere and everywhere, for no reason at all.
See that green bag on top? It contains gifts that Jemima sent for us: A pug calendar for our home, bag of treats for mom and dad, and a bag of treats and chews for the pug of the house.

The pug of the house is ME. What are MY treats doing on top of a huge dresser? Why aren't MY treats in the correct place? (hint: my tummy)

The Beach, The Desert, The City

Hi puggies and non-puggies!
Could you please vote on my poll on the right hand side? ----> right there. Thank you!
I checked the results and, so far, I have to dress like this:

(33% Pig, 33% Pirate, 33% Firefighter, 1% is my tail)

Now, a quick recount of the places mom and dad visited:

A city on the West Coast.

A museum in said city.

Mom got to spend some time with old friends from Peru. She met the girl in highschool 22 years ago and the boy in college 17 years ago. Just so he doesn't feel left out, mom met dad in Miami 8 years ago.

Later, mom and dad walked around.

They rode bicycle,

sat on a bench to watch the sunset...

And walked around a little more at night.

Mom and dad drove innumerable hours, just to look at this nature wonder.

Mom cried when she first saw it. I bet it reminded her of me.

I don't blame her for missing me so much, since the only furry creatures in that place didn't seem very friendly.

Then mom and dad went to visit a place called Dam, where the most remarkable feature was this coyote:

Then mom and dad went to another city.

I've heard that people have a lot of fun in this city called Las Vegas. I am sure it is true, but I know my parents. They walked around a little bit during the day, napped in the afternoon and then slept early every night. Mom slept a lot and ate like a pig. I wonder if this has something to do with the mysterious somebody hiding in her pictures *wink, wink*. Anyway, despite being a super boring old couple, mom and dad had a lot of fun - thanks to me. Why? Because she met with two bloggers! If it weren't for my friendship with Jemima, Daisy and Oscar, mom would have never met Rachele and Leah!

Mystery Solved?

Hello Friends!

Here I am, back home and ready to tell you all about the misterious pictures of mom and dad in the mountains.

Maybe I should begin claryfing the fact that mom didn't meet with other pugs during the trip. She's been faithful to me and has only met with weird brown furry creatures, like the following:

Apparently, such brown creatures have an exquisite taste since mom found my favorite bakery up there:

Having discarded "pugs" as a reason why mom and dad went so far away, I would say they went there to see the trees change color. Over here palm trees don't change colors!

Or maybe they just went there because mom wanted to buy some fabrics, since sewing is her new favorite hobby...

Anyway, ever since they returned, I haven't left mom's side. I sleep on the floor by her side of the bed now, instead of daddy's side, and I stay in the bathroom with her while she takes a shower. I still haven't figured out why I feel so overprotective... all I know is that there's somebody hiding in this picture of mom and dad.

Wordless Wednesday: what happens when dad leaves the dining room

Insert barking/whining/crying/sneezing/other funny noises.
