I'm a doll

Good morning friends,

You may not have noticed, but little sister likes to play with dolls. Problem is, she doesn't have any - but she has ME. Yes, I've been dressed up with all sorts of pink and flowery clothing.

Long story short, this is what happened yesterday:

- I was about to be dressed with a purple tutu.

- I refused to wear it.

- Mom begged. I said "no way". Tantrum started.

- I suggested shopping therapy for the upset ladies (and/or babies)

- Three hours later, they came back from mom's favorite store.

- I approved the new clothes.

- End of story.

The Resolution

Today, my mother decided that her resolution for the next 365 days would be to exercise every morning - sort of like a two month early New Year's resolution for 2012, or a ten month late one for 2011. Odd, I know.

In our neighborhood, you can always see sporty people bicycling, walking, running or else. There's also older couples and new moms trying to get in shape.

Then there's the half-asleep lady wearing crocs that pushes a stroller with one hand and drags a pug with the other, in hope of loosing some weight.

Odd, I know.

A good night sleep

Oh, how I wish sleep time was important for the little kid in my home. My parents and I have been struggling for a while with a stubborn girl who won't stop giggling and playing even while in bed. It is even causing problems between mom and dad. Why? Because dad tries to discipline her while mom just cracks up because my sister is very funny. I second mom but not to upset dad, I just grumble.

No, I do not have a drinking problem

I spend hours by the bar because a little someone likes to hide things in the wine rack. This time, it is a piece of cheese and I am gonna get it!

How To Train Your Human

A step by step guide for pugs:

1. Find yourself a human. The littlest, the better.

2. Stay close to your human at key hours: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks.

3. Be aware of the menu. Snacks like cheerios are particularly easy to catch.

4. Do not pay any interest to comments such as: "how weird... the baby needs vitamines to supplement her diet. She seemed to be eating so well..."

5. Do not restrain yourself in any way: eat as much as you can. On your next vet visit you may be told that you are on a diet; thence, no more snacks for your little human.

6. Bon Apetit!

Hello... and welcome!

Dear dog, cat, human or reader in general,

I have noticed that this blog has more followers and I am very happy because I love making new friends. If you are new to our blog, you probably don't know that we can't comment on blogs because we use mom's almost-useless-cellphone to post and we keep up with other blogs using mobile blogger reader. Why don't we use a regular computer, you may ask?

Well, mom practices attachment parenting and that means that there's always a curious toddler and a hungry pug right by her side. She's pretty much very busy, tired and sleepy most of the time. And I can't reach the computer by myself!

Well, there's other things you may need to know. English is mom's second language. I am bilingual; I understand both english and spanish. But with mom typing for me... well, there's always mistakes and things that are supposed to be funny but really aren't. Forgive her, please.

Also, if you haven't read my story yet, there's a few links to my very first posts, MY LIFE.

Thank you all for reading us!

Mr. Coco,

Editor in Chief

"Who's that?"

"I don't know, but he kind of looks like you."

"Oh. Mom?!"

Designer Skills

Hello friends,

Let me tell you all a short story. Before we moved into the house, dad told mom that the smallest bedroom should be for the baby. Mom agreed.

The day of the move, they realized that the crib didn't fit through the hallway. Two weeks later, mom decided to convert the crib into a toddler bed to finally move it into the bedroom. That sure was a wise desicion, not only because the baby almost never slept in the crib, but also because she was not going to sleep in the toddler bed either. She sleeps with mom and dad in the king sized bed and that's not about to change.

Therefore, I took over the toddler bed, against daddy's will. My mother and sister think it is cute that I sneak to sleep in there while daddy is not watching. For obvious reasons, I got to decorate the room as I pleased. Do you guys like it?
