Working With the Snuggle Puggle

Boss,
This week I was assigned the huge responsibility of a captain. I had the option to choose my very own vessel, which was no easy task, let me tell you.

The options were endless. Red, yellow, blue, orange, green, gray...

Or white.

There were many restrictions at sea, and I had to be sure I was going to stay on board all the time, so I had to choose my vessel carefully. Dogs are not allowed in the ocean in too many places!

No fishing, either. That means I am not allowed to touch the fish, right?

They should have a "no pugging" sign. Huge fishies tried to attack me!

Despite all of the above, I did manage to bring my vessel to port safely. Mission accomplished!

P.S. Mom can't publish her comments in some of our friends' blogs, because the word verification thingy doesn't show a word (?). She tried to say hello to all of you but if you haven't heard from us today, is the computer's fault! She doesn't know what to do about it...

The Pug Picnic

Hi pugs, non-pugs and people!
I almost forgot to tell you how my day was at the Pug Picnic last sunday.

The event took place in a beautiful park.

There were girls,
boys,
more girls,

parrots,

girls willing to get a kiss,

others not so much,

but got a kiss, anyway,

there was pee-mail to be read,

pug-olympics,

raffles,

scraps beneath the tables,

and most important of all...

One exhausted and happy pug!

Some Math

Friends,
Thank you all for your advice. My dad is a little hard to train, I know. He is doing great in almost every trick I have teached him, except a couple of them. Here's a summary:

1. He has not learned to kiss me.
2. He is not very enthusiastic when mom makes plans for pug events.

I thought I should apply the tricks I learned from my friends but got a little confused ... so I chose to put everything in writing and evaluate my tactics before finding a solution for my problem:

Happy pug = (Nice cold weather) + (Fun outdoor activities)

Happy mom = Happy pug

Happy dad = X

Mom + Dad + Coco = Love

Mom's love for Coco > Dad's love for Coco

Coco's love for mom < Coco's love for Dad

Dad's preference = Mom + Car

Mom's preference = (Dad driving) + Car + Coco

Mom's training capabilities > Dad's training capabilities

Mom's training progress = 100% (Pug obedience)

Mom + Dad + (Coco farting in the same room) = Dad blaming mom

Mom + Dad + fart = Mom blaming Coco (who is not in the room)

Dad + Coco + fart = Y

Mom + Coco + Petco = (New toy) + (New clothes)

Mom + Dad + Petco - Coco = Clothes and toy left at the register

Mom dining = Coco + Tiny piece of green bean

Dad dining = Coco + food scraps + leftovers on plate + carrot

There are two variables in the equation. I will let you know the solution once I find one. It may take a few years, though...

Need Training Advice

Friends,
We have serious problems. You see, we've been having many outdoor events lately because of the gorgeous pug friendly weather. Mom likes to take me to those events. Last sunday the Pug Club of South Florida organized their Annual Pug Picnic.

The park was a little far away from home. There were other events going on in our city this past weekend, like the Boat Show and the Art Festival, but mom chose to attend the Pug Picnic first.

I have been working very hard all this years to achieve perfection in training. An example: Mom got an icee for dad and he accidentally dropped some on the floor, therefore I cleaned the floor (see pictures below).

This looks like a trained specimen, right?

Could you believe he said that he had attended to enough pug events for the whole year already? He even said that mom's vehicle was a kennel, not a car. After all this years of devoted love, of teaching him how an indoor dog enriches the life of human beings, that waking up to a pug whine or even a kiss in bed brings joy and smiles, after teaching him the importance of a couple of drops of olive oil in the pug's food to begin the day with hope and happiness, after he had taken advantage of my dish and silverware pre-wash capabilities, after all this years of training... What am I supposed to do?

Working With the Snuggle Puggle

Hey Guys!
I had the best time ever on Valentine's day, with my dear Pearl.

I was so tired after my hectic weekend that I almost called in sick today. I was about to call Eduardo when I noticed it was too early.

I found a cozy place to lay down...

...until mom called me. "Are you ready to pack your stuff? Time to go to work, Coco"

I was lucky to be too far to listen to what mom said.

But she came closer! So I had to work today. Packing stuff. Sigh.

The T.P. Incident

Dear Valentine's Day Blind Date ,
I've heard that there are certain rumours about me being a silly puggy and I don't want you to get the wrong image of me. It's being said that last sunday, while daddy was showing the house to a possible tenant, he decided that the toilet paper roll looked better in its place rather than on top of the closet.
It's being said that I couldn't resist the temptation. It's being said that what daddy saw next was a silly puggy spitting whatever was in his mouth and sitting in the middle of the room as if the paper right next to him had nothing to do with him.
It's being said that the silly puggy didn't notice that the paper was still attached to the corner of his mouth by a tiny little piece, the rest of the paper rolling down to the floor.

You wouldn't believe that the "silly pug" could be me, right?

Supposedly, his daddy asked: "What are you doing?" and the pug sat still for the next 40 minutes or so.

And the pug only moved after his dad came back, laughed and said: "It's alright, papa!"

When the pug moved from his 40-minute-sit-still position, the paper finally broke...

... still leaving the tiny piece on the side of his mouth for the next hour and half.
Silly pug, whoever that was!

Romantic Advice

Boys,
I need some advice. I will go on a date on saturday with a secret crush (well, some of you may know who she is...) and I am really nervous. I tried calling my friend Jaxson, but he was taking his afternoon nap.

I met new friends last saturday and I asked their phone numbers.

I met a cute girl, too, but she didn't impress me that much. You need to gain some weight, girl!

One of my friends suggested to get my teeth washed before I pick up my date.

Another suggested to wear faux fur to impress my date.

My other friend didn't answer, I think he might be mute or something...

I will appreciate any advice on romantic stuff. Thank you friends!
