Last Tuesday, my Coco passed away in my arms unexpectedly. He was sick on and off about a month after we got him at a pet store as a Christmas present for me back in 2005. He went into a coma as a puppy before being diagnosed with Addison's disease. I took each and every day after that as a gift. He was by my side during very difficult moments of my life, as well as the happy ones. He was aging fast, due to having taken cortisone most of his life, but was happy and healthy. He slowed down on Monday, had an addisonian crises at dawn, and his fragile body did not survive. My daughter and I are devastated and miss him deeply. We really appreciate every message of comfort we've received.
Coco's Mom.
P.S. Angel Coco may post again soon. He had stories that were not told. He wants to remain with us for a little longer, and he will look after his family from up there. I'm sure he would love for us to find a new furry member of the family. After all, our house doesn't feel like home anymore.
