I had to clean the dishes after breakfast because I didn't let mom take me to the bathroom early morning. Hey, I am sure I was being helpful to dad while he was preparing the omelette!

What an odd punishment...we think you were very helpful and we kinda wish we could do the dishes after breakfast too!
Hi Coco! I can't believe you were punished for helping with the dishes. I love the dishwasher because there is always good stuff in there. I am not as brave as you to climb up on it, but I might have to try. Hopefully I won't get in trouble.

Pleaz bes careful with the dishwasher! Just a little story about doggies and dishwashers. My cousin had a dobie named Maggie, and now Maggie loved loved to clean the dishes that we being loaded in teh dishwasher. One Christmas day a few years ago, while we were cleaning the table, Maggie was cleaning the dishes already loaded into the dishwasher. But then her color got caught on one of those spikey things in the dishwasher, and she got scared and pulled and pulled and pulled so much that she pulled the bottom rack of the dishwasher right out of the machine, onto the floor, dragged around the corner of a galley kitchen.......all without breaking a dish (and there were probably a dozen big dishes at least in there)! We were just so thankful she didn't break a dish and cut herself!
Moral of the story, if you're going to help with the dishes, be careful!

yes, we try to help clean the dishes too. we kinda got in trouble for this a few years back when mom's dishwasher door broke. the repair guy noticed us, and tried to suggest it was because we stepped on it. we hadn't. seriously a bosch is hell to get parts for! moral: never let the dishwasher repair dude see you!

My babies do this, too.
Gus does that and it drives me nuts! He licks the utensils too and I am always scared he will cut his tongue!
My mom's dog gets right in the dishwasher and one time they didn't see him and he got stuck in it! They didn't turn it on thank god and found him a few minutes later when he started barking!!
