Bad mom

Good morning friends,
I have been very upset yesterday, specially with my mother. You know, she told me I was going to the vet. I was happy because I love going there. She did forget to mention that I was going to fast almost all day yesterday, and that I was going to get a couple of teeth removed. I insist I need to see an orthodoncist to fix my smile. The picture above - before dental cleaning - shows one big tooth that actually was not big but was loose.
I also got upset because the day before mom went to the airport to see her sister, brother in law and my three cousins while they were in transit. Aunty had someone in Peru sew the bedding for my sister. I liked the idea of having my sister sleep on pug level but mom insists that all this will go on top of a crib. But that's not the reason I am upset. No. Look closer: there are giraffes, monkeys, lions, snakes. Where are the pugs, mother? Didn't we agree that OUR bedroom would be pug themed? At least she chose vibrant colors. We don't want a male pug sleeping in a pink bedroom!
Well, after a nerve wrecking morning waiting for a call from the vet to find out how I did with the anesthesia, my mother called their office at 1 p.m. She asked how I was doing and the girl answered:
"Coco is great. All went well, and he is sitting right in front of me, watching me while I have lunch."
Duh! Anesthesia or not, I was starving!

Wow Coco,
You certainly have a lot of reasons to be upset. That whole thing at the vet, you know, there a thing called the Patients Bill of Rights. One of those rights is informed consent. You have the right to know just what is going to happen before that vet touches you. You have to give it the paw print of approval I think you may just have a lawsuit on your hands.

Mostly, I'm glad you made it through ok. So go easy on your Mom.She was very worried about you.

Great job Coco!!!

We are so glad you did good!

We are very sorry to hear about the giraffes and pink bedding. Your Mommy so needs to make this up to you. I would start making a list!

Sweet Coco!!! You know your momma loves you!! Mommas sometimes have to be a little sneaky in order to what's best for us. I am taking issue with the fasting though! That was so uncalled for!!! A puggie needs to eat. =) I am so glad you made it through ok and are doing fine!! As for the bedding, I'm sure we'll figure out how to get some puggies into the nursery before your sister gets here!!!

Hang in there!!

Coco, I totally understand the pain and suffering you just experienced! I am usually really excited to see our doc. But last month when mom took me to have my throat looked at she starved me too! I thought she didn't loves me anymore.

I'm glad to hear you're okay (minus a few teeths).

Hi Coco! I'm so glad your dental went well. I can't believe you were starved before it though and I hope you made up for it by eating everything in sight.

Tell your mom to get rid of the giraffe, monkey, lion and snake stuff. It sounds like she's try to turn the nursery into a zoo! It's pugs for the baby or nothing!

I was starved too! I was so mad I posted a "talk to the paw" and it took awhile to forgive. But after getting ligaments before and a stuffy after I'm considering SOME leniency. I also had 2 teeth pulled but I can still tear into those 4 ft doggies that try to mess with me!!!
