Centennial Celebration

Pugs and people!
This is my 100th post and I want to celebrate today sharing a few secrets with you. Coincidentally, my dear friend Pearl gave me this award:

"When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog.” Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on!"

1. I used to live inside a pet store when I was very little.
2. When mom, dad and the kids came to the store, there were 3 pugs. Dad thought I was the cutest pug, but mom and the kids noticed I was shivering all the time. Mom thought I was sick but they chose me anyway and now she is glad they did so.
3. I got sick for the first time a little after a month of being home. I am trouble, guys!
4. I barely take baths. Mom says that I don't stink, and when I do, its like 3 or 4 months after the last bath.
5. Right now I stink, but mom put my shampoo and other beauty products inside a box and sealed it because we are moving next weekend. I guess she will have to smell my stinkyness for a few more days...
6. This weekend will be the third time I move to another home. Mom gets all stressed out thinking that I will not get used to the new place, that I won't like it, etc. I am always fine! I just let her worry about me a little. She needs some drama in her life!
7. I love pug girls, specially the ones that wear pink harnesses.
8. I am a social pug, specially if the other dog is huge. I smell their faces and that scares mom to death ("What if he is agressive?").
9. My mom is always complaining because I jump and dance when father is home and I seem to love him more than I love her, but the truth is... I love them both the same! It's just that I have to work a little more with dad to get what I want! (Mom thinks it's because dad sometimes gives me a little bit of his food against her will...)
10. I am thankful with my dad for not always letting me go to some pug events because, seriously, my mom lives on cloud nine and sometimes she is a little irresponsible with things that need to be done that are more important than the events. Of course, things would be perfect if we didn't have any responsibilities, but I guess that's not part of reality...

I will pass this award to: Brutus, Pugsley, Tweedles, Rosie Marie, Harry, Salinger and Roxy and Lucky.

Remember how I was telling you yesterday about my weekend? Dad was looking for fishes with the kids.

There were more fishes in the aquarium inside the visitor center. There we went. All of us. The family. But...

... No dogs were allowed! That's totally unfair. Mom took a silly picture of me, with some fishes. Mom, those fishes are not real, that's a painting!

Mom and I had to sit outside for a while. We were bored.

So we decided to go for a walk while dad and the kids were in the aquarium. A walk... yeah, right!

She made me go up and down those huge stairs!

We finally met dad at the car. We were all hungry so mom asked dad to take us to this place where mom has gone with dad one time, and mom has gone with me another time but we have never gone all together before. Dad agreed. It was past 4 o'clock and all they had for lunch was a snack from Mc. Donalds. Me? A few carrots and green beans. What's wrong with me getting some high colesterol, high caloric and non-organic food?

Do you know what happens to people that doesn't share their food? Their car gets all dirty with melted ice cream! (see the wet and dripping Mc. Donalds bag? hehe)

By the way, the view was awesome, specially without the mirror and the dripping bag:
Do you really like this scenery? Wait until you see what's next!

How silly that they would like fishies in that building but not a handsome pug dog like you! I do enjoy your stories, Coco.
