Isla Morada

Friends,
Last sunday, after visiting the state park we headed south to Isla Morada to have dinner.

We arrived at this store, which has a restaurant that specializes in fish and seafood. Mom doesn't eat those things but she still likes it because it is pet friendly. The store has doggy carts so we don't get tired while shopping! (or is it so we don't get the floor dirty?).

Right next to this place, there's another restaurant, very, very nice and with live music.

Dad chose the first one, where there's live music, too, but the singer playing that day was... how can I explain? Hilarious. Funny. He didn't make any jokes, but the whole family laughed at his song selection and his way of singing.

Anyway, the view was beautiful and mom took lots of pictures.

It took a while for us to get a table. I was with them waiting in the line to get our names on the list.

I walked around with them while waiting to be called.

I listened to the funny singer while still waiting to be called.

I was a subject of my mother's constant attempts to take a nice picture of me and the landscape...

Until we finally got a table.

What happened next? They all ordered their food. I was ready to order mine, too.

... to only get another disappointment in life. No food for me!

Well, mom had a hard time, too. She had to order ribs because she doesn't eat fish or seafood. The ribs where hard, greasy and ugly and she returned them. So instead of eating, she spent her time taking more pictures from our table. I hope you like them.

Oh what beautiful pictures your mommy took. Very good shots of the sun going down- and the setting of the table and waters. It looked relaxing to me. Too bad you didn;t get the rib bones! But you had a good time and lots of attention!

That is the bad thing about going to a seafood restaurant if you dont' eat seafood - usually everything else they make is BAD! Oh well - at least you got to see a beautiful sun set. And later today there will be a surprise for you at my blog!!!

It's so beautiful where you live, Coco! How nice it must be to eat outside and to have a good puggy panting session.

Sorry your mom's dinner wasn't that great, but her photos were awesome. Especially the ones with you in them. You are very cute Coco. Can I come down and visit? We are getting 10" of snow tomorrow! Yuk!

Oh my gosh, Coco! We don't have views like that here in Oklahoma. My favorite picture is the one of you sitting and the beautful water is behind you. I think I might frame that! :)
