The Land of the Crab

Hi friends!
Some of you were worried about our new neighbor. I wouldn't be so scared, after all, I was about to sniff him when we first opened the door but mom pulled my leash and ran away in panic, screaming. She has no manners at all; our new neighbor was standing right in front of our door, he obviously came by to introduce himself.
When dad came downstairs mom asked him, "What is that thing doing here?!"
"What are YOU doing here", daddy answered. "This was the land of the Blue Crab before the developers came. They numbered by the thousands."
Mom felt sadness because she never thought crabs would be homeless because of us. Who knows what other species should be here? We've seen frogs and insects, and one crab. For those of you who doesn't know, we live in South Florida, less than a mile away from the mangroves in Biscayne Bay, a few miles north of Key Largo.

Hi Coco! Your dad is right about the crabs. They were there first and they have a right to go wherever they want.

Tell your mom to just leave them alone and they will leave her alone. They really make great neighbors because they are quiet.
