How was your weekend? Mine was unexpectedly boring. On Sunday mom and dad were going to take me to Doggy Days of Summer at Fairchild Tropical Gardens. What happened? Right when we were about to leave the house daddy got a call from work and had to leave. Mom had the wonderful idea of taking me on a longer walk in the neighborhood, since I was very excited about going out and she hates to see me suffer. We had a great time but when we were walking through the most beautifully landscaped areas mom was on the phone with grandma so she could not take a picture of me. Someone needs to set her priorities right. Of course, I got tired and hot and mom had to carry me all the way back. In the end, she was glad we didn't go to the event since it seemed to be a little too hot for a puggy (and there was an entrance fee to pay!).
Daddy said today that the weather is going to be cooler this week. Please, weather, be cooler. Bring winter, but Florida winter, ok?
Oh before I forget, a few days ago mom receive a very cute envelope in the mail. She had won a give away for Shanny's eighth year bloggiversary! She got to choose a color, and Shanny made a pair of earrings for her. She is such a lucky girl!
Thank you Shanny! I specially enjoyed the puggy kisses that came in the envelope for me!

I'm so glad you got to go on a nice, long walk... but I will cross my paws that you get cooler weather soon! I want some too! It's 87 here today.

I get carried back too after long walks...usually my legs are too old to make it backs on there owns!
Hi Coco! I can't go for long walk anymore because my legs give out. Mom always has to carry me back home and then she tells me that I need to lose some weight. Whatever.
It's cold here today - 48 right now. Yuk! That's a little too cold for me and I'm going to stay in bed all day.

It's all good Coco!! The momma has had to carry me home a time or two =) I hope you get your cooler weather soon. We are starting to very fall like here! Lots of wind, but at least its not raining.
