On Friday morning Mom took me to the Vet. I totally love it! I get very excited because I have trained my vet to give me a cookie after she trims my nails. If she doesn't, I will move like crazy and cry next time she tries to even touch my feet!
On Saturday I went to work with Mom and then to the park. It was a little late and we didn't get pictures : (
On Sunday Mom took me to our South Beach Pug Devotees Meetup! I had not been there for a while because it is a little far away from home but we had so much fun, we are planning to attend more often!
We met at Maurice Gibb Park, it is beautifully landscaped and there is even a Marina! I was very careful to not get too close to the water, not because I can't swim but because I didn't bring a towel.
I accidentally found a melon (why would someone leave a melon in their lap?) and shared it with my dear friend Mr. Spanky.
We took a group picture, the three puggies (or piggies?):

"Can we take them home? Please?"
It was a little rainy but the weather was wonderful. When we finished, Mom drove a little further to get lunch. The place has peruvian style sandwiches and smoothies and best of all, they always let me in! Mom had a Chirimoya milkshake (I think that the name in english for that fruit is apple custard) but couldn't finish it because it was too cold. She gets sick when she drinks cold beverages so she lets it get warm before drinking.
Mom thought that it was getting late for our next stop, so she left the milkshake in the cup holder and started driving. The whole trip was through expressways and interstates and such. I had enough time to break the lid of the cup, insert my whole face inside the cup and drink it all. Mom couldn't do anything (being the worst, take a picture!) because she was driving. My face was all white when I finished.
We finally got to our destination, another smoothie store. Mom, didn't you have enough? But she didn't buy a smoothie. There were other puggies.
" Why are they for adoption?"
Compasionate Pug Rescue was organizing an event to raise funds. Can you believe that I met Santa Paws? We even took a picture together!

Coco, tell you mom she is very beautiful (in reference to the 3 puggy/piggie comment)! Sounds like you had a great weekend! The photo with Santa is awesome. I am trying to get Mom to pay attention to when they are doing that at our local petco.
Broccoli! Don't forget the broccoli. That is very funny that you drank your mom's smoothie and she couldn't do anything about it. I love stories like that. Glad you had a fun weekend.

That is too funny! Nothing is cuter then a pug face covered in food. :)

Coco, you are SO adorable and we're glad to hear that you had a nice time at your meetup and got to eat MELON! Lucky pug!
You're more than welcome to come visit us and share our snow when we have it! We have just a tiny bit now and it looks like powdered sugar on the lawn (but doesn't taste like it!).
Tell your mommy to give you some good tummy rubs from us and to keep sharing her smoothies!
Love,
S-Dog
Lovely pictures, Sandra! You and Coco are so adorable! It must have looked priceless to see him with the milkshake all over his cute little face!
