Good And Bad News
Hi Friends,
Today I have some bad news... my traccheal problem appeared again this morning. Nothing unusual for me, since I have had this problem recently but this time I wouldn't stop having those weird attacks. I was calmed and hungry but daddy got scared. He never gets scared but imagine how I was for him to get scared; he didn't even want to feed me because he thought it would make things worse. He was having his allergy attacks, too, and we both felt sorry for each other.
But I am not the real problem. I went to work with mom today and she dropped me off to the vet where I am going to get a chest x-ray. I am in good hands now. The vet said I had a traccheobronchitis.
The real problem is mom. She pretends to be a strong person and it has worked well for the past couple of years. But today her heart sunk. She doesn't know why. It could be because I am going to the vet more often than she wishes I would. Or because she was finally getting used of me being a "healthy" pug... when I will actually never be.
I will make sure mom gets lots of kisses and good news. I promise to follow treatment and continue on my diet; I will try to beg a little less during mom and dad's meals!
Now to add some good news to this post, I would like to write a little poem, just like my sweet friend Tweedles did, inspired in a poem half-written by her friend Jan @ Ignite to Write.
Let me put my wrinkles to work for a while...
Here it is:
Coco looks like a furry puffy ball
He smells like cheese and flowers
He sounds like a pig in the country
He tastes like the sweetest treat
He feels like a melting cinnabon
He feels like a melting cinnabon
Coco makes me want to smile and share and not be shy

Sending prayers your way - so that you ALL fell better!
Hi Coco! You are as healthy as you can be and for that everyone is grateful. My mom gets sad too when I am not feeling good, but I always cheer her up with kisses. Please kiss your mom and tell her that everything will be okay.
Stubby xoxo
Oh Coco, we hope you feel better! Make sure you give your Mommy and Daddy lots and lots of love!
That was a very nice poem :-)

Coco...go and give your mommy more kisses right now. Tell her to keep her chin up because all of her friends in Bloggerland are there for her!
It sounds like your vet is taking good care of you and I'm sure you're going to be feeling better before you know it!!!
Ok...a few more kisses and then beg for carrots! I'm sure you'll totally get as many as you want today!
Love,
S-Dog
Precious Coco!! It's ok for mommy to hold onto the thought that you're a healthy pug. Sometimes mommies need that little glimmer of hope to keep themselves sane. I'm glad you're feling better and we hope you get well soon!!
Oh Coco, tell your Mommy we understand why she worries but that you are being well taken care of.
Coco- we're thinking about you up here in Minnesota and hoping that you feel better so your mom doesn't have to worry about you! I <3 Coco!
Coco, buddy.....now it's okay fer yer mom to feel sad (it just means she loves ya), but maybe ya oughtta remind her what a tough guy ya are. Remember when we beat up that gang o' bikers outside that bar in Tulsa? Uh....oh, wait a minute. She wasn't supposed to know about that!
Take care o' yerself and yer dad!
My sweet Coco
What a fabulously, beautiful poem you wrote! And it is all so true about you!
Thank you for sharring it with us!
That was very brave of you!
Coco we understand your mom and dad worrying, my moms worry too.
The dr knows best and you are in good hands, so kiss mom and dad a whole bunch. But not only that, we are hoping you get to feeling better real soon- so we send our love to you.

Coco, my dearest,
I just want to tell you that I am thinking about you and your sweet parents! Please tell your Mom that she is the best pug-parent in the world! You are getting the best care possible. Don't let her heart sink, ok? NO ONE out there could love you and care for you the way she does.
Love,
Your Pearly
