And they finally arrived to the beach.

Friends,
Some of you have asked about those huge fishies. That's what daddy wanted to show mom and mom had to hold her breath and almost faint while crossing through the seafood restaurant to go see them. Do you think it was worth it?

Anyway, daddy said those fishies are called Tarpons and that humans don't eat them. I bet they can eat humans! They are huge!

So just to avoid any confusions, I didn't go with them that day. I am adding pictures of myself because I am beautiful and this is my blog. The above picture was taken a while ago, at a corporate meeting where the decision of increasing my carrot intake was to be made.
So back to mom and dad's beach day, they drove three hours to get there. I am glad I didn't go because dogs are not allowed in the beach, shoreline, pathways, buildings... so where am I allowed? Inside the car only???

The place is called "Bahia Honda State Park". There is an old railroad crossing the park. Do you see it? It looks more like an airplane road to me. Why is it so high?
There was also this cute mini train station.

Poor daddy. He had to carry everything by himself. I bet he missed his doggy son to help carry things. For sure I was going to carry my leash and harness.

Do you guys know or have been in the US1 road? It runs on top of the small bridge you see in the bottom of the picture, all the way to Key West.

They went to the other side of the beach, the one on the Atlantic Ocean, not the Gulf of Mexico's side.

I hope mom and dad learned their lesson and don't leave me at home the next time they venture to the beach. I could have helped dad putting up the umbrella, too!

Coco, my dear, I bet your daddy really missed having his helpful son there to help! I bet they'll never leave you again!

What was the decision at the corporate meeting? More carrots for Coco? That's my vote!

What a beautiful place - not fair that they don't allow pugs! Let's start a petition!

Coco - It's so unfair that you couldn't go to the beach. I think you should get the powers that be your office right away and have it out with them!

Mom and Dad were on US1 when they went to the Keys to visit the Turtle Hospital. They loved it down there and had great weather.

I hope the carrot decision was a good one. I love carrots because they are the perfect snack.

Coco - you would have fried on that hot beach. You might had heat stroke. It would be best if your mom and day just stayed home with you!!!

I bet your dad missed you a lot Coco. I am sure he is regretting the decision to leave you home and go to an unfriendly dog beach.
